Cobra's ESD9860 10-band radar detector uses VoiceAlert digital voice alerts to warn you of the use of radar and laser monitoring while letting you keep your eyes on the road.
The 8-point digital compass lets you know where you're headed.
The Digiview Data Display provides a bright and easily recognizable digital text display.
The user-friendly EasySet programming helps you choose your preferred settings. Plus, the settings are retained in memory, so you can switch vehicles without having to adjust it all over again. SmartMute eliminates false alerts at slow speeds it's smart enough to know that you're not speeding!
The unit features 360° laser protection, a 4-level dimmer, an audio output jack, city/highway modes, and built-in memory.
The ESD9860 is completely invisible to VG-2, but it also has a VG-2 alert to let you know when the police are using "radar detector detectors."
You get warning of approaching emergency vehicles equipped with "StrobeAlert" systems, the strobe light system that automatically changes the lights at intersections.
The ESD9860 also alerts you to emergency vehicles and road hazards equipped with the "Safety Alert" system.
